President, Avnet Electronics Marketing
Harley Feldberg was promoted to global president of Avnet Electronics Marketing in July 2004. He reports to CEO Rick Hamada, is a corporate officer, and a member of the Avnet Executive Board.
Mr. Feldberg, with Avnet for 28 years, served as president of Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas from March 2002 until June 2004, where he led the team to significant operational and financial improvements through strategic investments in people and systems to enhance customer service. Prior to that, he spent nearly two years on an executive expatriate assignment as president of Avnet Electronics Marketing Asia.
Prior to that he held executive posts in sales, marketing and business management. In 1999 he was named president and director of Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas' product business groups, and later served as president of the interconnect, passive & electromechanical (IP&E) product business group.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in history/political science from the University of Maryland.
