PHOENIX -- Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, an operating group of Avnet Inc. (NYSE: AVT), recently announced that it has been named a 5 Star Distributor by Tyco Electronics Corcom, a provider of EMI/RFI solutions through power line filters, power entry modules, and filtered modular jacks (RJ11-RJ45).
The 5 Star Distribution Award is given to distributor branches that demonstrate commitment to the growth activities of Corcom products.
These activities include meeting growth goals in sales and customer count, participating in product training, promotional activities, and design registration opportunities. Out of 73 participating distributor locations only 14 met the qualifications for this award, including Avnet's Milwaukee location.
